How close to the server should I be for cloud gaming?
Ideally within 500 km, and within 200 km for the lowest latency. Up to about 1,000 km, games remain playable, especially single-player titles; for competitive games, it is best to stay under 500 km. As a guide, on fibre with an Ethernet cable: under 15 ms ping below 200 km, 15 to 30 ms up to 500 km, and 30 to 50 ms around 1,000 km. On DSL or 4G, expect roughly 10 to 30 ms more. The distance shown on the map is as the crow flies; the actual network path is often longer.

An Alliance Partner is a regional operator licensed by NVIDIA to run GeForce NOW infrastructure in their market. They set their own subscription terms, separate from NVIDIA's Free, Performance, and Ultimate tiers.

PlayStation Cloud Gaming streams from 15 locations: London, Paris, Madrid, Frankfurt, Milan and Stockholm in Europe; Los Angeles, San Jose, Seattle, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, New York and Northern Virginia in the United States; and Tokyo in Japan.
Where are Amazon Luna servers located?
Amazon Luna runs on AWS. Network tests point to six regions: Northern Virginia, Ohio and Oregon in the United States, and London, Frankfurt and Ireland in Europe. These locations are approximate.

Shadow PC runs datacenters in Dunkirk, Strasbourg, Frankfurt, Montreal, Washington DC and Portland.
How accurate are the server locations?
Locations are compiled from official status pages, provider announcements and independent monitoring. Markers are placed at the city or region centre, not at the exact datacenter address, and the list can change when a provider opens or closes a site.
